Music lovers who wish to enjoy their records to the full will love the elegant Resolution MK2 turntable. The recreation of original musical performance involves many factors. High priorities are dynamics, transient speed, definition and tonal accuracy. The ability of the Resolution to display a multitude of musical attributes in exemplary manner, separates it from so many others. Unique Styling
The Resolution's inert base piano black polished finish makes it an eye catching asset for any decor.
High Grade Parts
The Resolution further advances on the improvements wrought by the Calypso with the following:
- Special inert platter - The material employed is confidential but is the best material for platters ever discovered by a huge margin
- High inertia massive arm board - advantageous to resist rotational and vertical modes of vibration
- High specification sub-chassis with decoupled main bearing
- Heavier motor pod for increased dynamics
- DC200 motor for higher torque, power and increased dynamics in the music
Power Supply
The regulated power supply feeding the motor is load compensating and stable across a wide range of temperatures. Speed control is switched electronically between 33rpm and 45 rpm.
Setting Up
There is nothing to go "out of tune" on the Resolution. The deck is a non suspended design which is extremely simple to set up and fuss free. VTA arm adjustment is provided for Origin Live and Rega arms, which makes setting the arm height much easier.

Heavyweight Platter

This option is a special combination of materials, designed to increase mass without incurring the penalty of increased energy storage and slow resonant decay. These are well known problems identified in most high mass platters. However the heavyweight platter uses a unique combination of laminated materials and sandwich construction to dissipate energy quickly and effectively. To produce such a platter is not easy. It is effectively like manufacturing 5 platters which must be free from accumalated distortion. Benefits are immediately obvious in deeper more powerfull bass, increased dynamics throughout the frequency spectrum and a greater sense of solidity / realism.

Different Arm Fitting

The deck can accomodate most arms by simply changing the sub-chassis plate. Subchassis plates are available for SME, Linn, Graham, Hadcock arms for an additional £100 as these are specials - All Roksan arms can be fitted using an adaptor at £25. Arms not listed in the above can be quoted individualy.
